2025 The 6th International Yangqin Music Festival (Beijing, China)

Since 2018, the International Yangqin Music Festival has gone through five sessions, from the United States, China to Malaysia, and then back to China, settling in Beijing. In August this year, we will usher in the 6th International Yangqin Music Festival at the world's first Yangqin Family Museum located in Beijing. With the support of many units such as the Shisanling Town Government and Xianrendong Village Committee, this event is co-organized by many units such as the Asian Yangqin Association and the International Yangqin Art Federation Association! This music festival focuses on Asian dulcimer art, and through a series of special activities such as international competition exchanges, exchanges of works by composers and performers, special lectures on national dulcimer performance ability assessment (music and etudes), Asian dulcimer art performances, and musical instrument workshops, it will further promote the integration of the dulcimer family in the new era. This music festival will build a stage for dulcimer enthusiasts in Asia to display, learn and grow, open up a new path for comprehensive improvement for professional practitioners, and lead the vigorous development of dulcimer art around the world!
