About Us

The Association is a registered non-profit organization in Hong Kong. Its purpose is to promote the world yangqin music culture in Hong Kong and cultivate the public's knowledge and interest in the world yangqin. All members are graduates of music colleges. Through music performances, master class lectures, international exhibitions, etc., we connect and exchange local outstanding yangqin talents with yangqin talents from all over the world. Using yangqin art as a medium, we not only promote Chinese culture to the world, but also let the essence of cultures from all over the world gather in Hong Kong, promote the exchange of yangqin music art in Hong Kong, the Mainland and overseas, and enhance the level of Hong Kong's yangqin art. At the same time, we will give full play to Hong Kong's advantages of integrating Chinese and Western cultures and its role as a center for cultural and artistic exchanges between China and foreign countries.
