The association's aim is to promote the world yangqin music culture in Hong Kong and to foster the public's knowledge and interest in the world yangqin. All the committee members graduated from music schools. Through music performances, master class lectures, international exhibitions and other forms, they help local outstanding yangqin talents establish connections and exchanges with yangqin talents from all over the world. Using yangqin art as a medium, we not only promote Chinese culture to the world, but also bring the cultural essence of all parts of the world to Hong Kong, promote the exchange of yangqin music and art between Hong Kong and the Mainland and overseas, enhance the level of yangqin art in Hong Kong, and give full play to Hong Kong's advantages in the integration of Chinese and Western cultures.
